Baby sugar glider still in pouch but mom is dead?

We have a family of Sugar Gliders! mom, dad and about 1 year old Son. Mom has a baby in her pouch. This morning she was moving around a lot and then would get real still and not move. Mom looked to be doing better so we put her back in the cage with her family. We went to check on them an hour later and the 1 year old Son had almost his whole head in the mommas sack. Mom was not moving or breathing at all. The baby in her sack however is still moving. Should we try to take the newborn baby out of the sack or will it die also from the mother not being alive?
