What products have 'fake' sounds to make them feel more comfortable to use?

The other day I was watching a news report about them selecting a noise for electric cars, and they mentioned some other products that use fake noises to make them more user friendly i.e. the shutter sound on a camera. One of the examples they gave really surprised me, but I can't remember what it was. Can anyone help and suggest some products that do this in the hope it'll remind me?
