Why does the media hate Mayweather?

I know he "act's da fool" but he gets so much heat by them, when Pacquiao gets pes. example: When he fought Marquez at 145 which he came in at 147. The media ripped him saying a was too big for marquez. He did this after a 2 year lay off. Pacquiao is doing the same and everyone is saying it will be a good fight.
